This painting seeks to remind you to accept yourself as a being on life's journey and to inspect and adapt your thoughts, words, and actions as a self-compassionate process over time.
 
The green form in the center may be viewed as yourself through time. The high contrast areas and bold lines serve to remind you of external events and your own actions that have impacted your journey, while the softer areas of grey, purple, and pink encourage you to reflect honestly but gently upon yourself.
 
This painting was created in my own process of accepting my personal failures and shortcomings, while finding hope, courage, and energy to make changes. The colors were inspired by the flowers at the local botanical garden and the softening palette of the late autumnal sky.
